Protein "Bread"


Ingredients:

  • 2 scoops Arbonne Protein

  • .5 cups coconut flour

  • 1.5 cups egg beaters or egg whites

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 plain Greek Yogurt- 5.3oz

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • cinnamon to your liking (optional)

  • 1/4 cup water (add more as needed for a cake consistency

  • 8X8 square or round cake pan

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 F

  2. Mix Arbonne protein, coconut flour, and baking power in a large bowl

  3. Add 2 eggs to the dry mix and stir (will be thick and not mix well)

  4. Add and stir in 1.5 cups egg beaters or egg whites

  5. Slowly add 1/4 cup water (you may need more or less than this depending on what protein you use. You want the mix to be the same thickness as a cake batter would be.)

  6. Grease pan

  7. Pour mixture into pan

  8. Make sure batter is even

  9. Bake at 375 F for 30-35 minutes

  10. Cut into 8 equal servings

  11. Store in the fridge

  12. This taste best after it is cold

  13. Can enjoy plain or add strawberries or peanut butter or another toping of your liking!

  • No husband rating...I'll let him stick to his ice cream!

  • I have not made this with other proteins so I cannot tell you the exact measurements or baking consistency for them but I would assume for the protein portion just do a serving.
